And then there was one

Long time, no write. Sorry about that.  I’ve spent the better part of the last two and a half months editing Hunting Aardvarks and cranking out a new book.  As this is a series, for now I’m going to call all of the books Hunting Aardvarks.  If that’s not clever enough for you, too bad. Unless someone (hint, hint) sends me a better idea, this is the one I’m going with.

As for the new book...

Hunting Aardvarks, subtitled Lesson One: Keep Up or Take Notes, is now in draft form.  What does that mean, you ask?  It means I’ve finished the first of what I assume will be many, many drafts. My initial reaction to the book so far is that it stinks, but that’s consistent with everything else I’ve written.  I’m letting it sit in a drawer for the next two months before I go back and bludgeon it with a large, heavy object, such as my head.  In the meantime, I’m hoping to get it it’s own page sometime shortly.

Additionally, about the time Lesson One gets its own page, I’ll make the first chapter of Hunting Aardvarks, Lesson Twelve: What To Do In The Event Of A Water Landing, available for anyone who cares to read it. For those of you that have read an earlier draft, the first chapter has changed. Dramatically.  And as for the title, well, I’m not sure right now how far down the line this book will come, but it will be a while.  And the title is a temporary place holder until I can come up with some thing clever, or in lieu of clever, at least shorter.

Nothing else going on in the world of Me.  Drop me a line.
